CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
When
we baptize children, the congregation promises to guide and nurture them,
encouraging them to know and follow Christ and to become faithful members of
the church. One of the ways we live that out is through our Sunday School and
Youth Groups. We know our children, we provide for their education, we pray
with and for them.
Our ministry offers:
Sunday School
In 2021, we introduced the Follow Me curriculum. This curriculum is based on practices Jesus did and taught us to do as faithful followers. Written for people of all ages, who wish to live out their faith, this curriculum examines where these practices are found in the Bible and how they have been used in the Christian faith, then and now. There are resources for worship, small group discussions, Sunday School for young children, elementary-age children, youth, and adults, as well as an intergenerational gathering for each unit. Foundational essays, practicing the practice at home worksheets, and activities for children in worship are included with every unit.
