IN-Person Worship resumes

May 23, 2021

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

It is with great joy that we will be reopening the doors to the Sanctuary for in-person worship on Sunday, May 23rd.  In order to maintain as much unity in our worship as possible, the in-person service will continue to be broadcast through Zoom and Facebook.  Most of the procedures that we followed in October remain in place with a few additions.

For those that will worship in the Sanctuary, the following are a few reminders of how we will keep each other safe and comfortable.

  • Doors will open at 9:45 a.m.
  • Enter through the side door of the Narthex.
  • Sign in as you enter
  • Wear a mask at all times while in the building
  • Maintain a social distance.
  • A hymn leader will continue to be used to allow for prayerful listening.
  • Congregation will not sing yet.
  • Offering will be gathered in a basket at the back of the Sanctuary.
  • On Communion Sundays, the pre-packaged elements will be distributed and used.
  • Following the conclusion of the service, exit immediately to the parking lot.

The musicians, tech crew and volunteers kindly request that all respect social distance protocol and avoid close contact in the Sanctuary.

The Re-entry Team and Session would like to thank each and every one for your patience, grace and support over this past year as we have worked through best practices while balancing multiple requirements.  Whether worshiping in-person or on-line let us gather for one cause, to praise and honor our God.

In Christ,

The Session
